Introduction

June 2024, head out to the magical Greek Island of Amorgos for an intensive Mandala Yoga Retreat. The perfect escape to challenge your body, clear your mind and connect with the elements.

Book here: www.koabarreyoga.com

Every morning after breakfast there will be a Mandala Yoga Practice and each afternoon/evening will vary, covering a range of other practices including Yin Yoga, Breath Work, intuitive flow, Meditation, stretching and Pilates. There will also be opportunities to participate in hiking, boat tours & water sports at extra cost.

Mandala Yoga is a challenging practice, involving balances, hand balances and inversions.
Mandala, meaning completion or circle, is used to describe this style. The vinyasa sequence flows through 360 degrees, bringing you to all four edges of your mat, your body creating its own mandala, its own spiritual journey. Mandala Yoga also works with the four elements, Earth, Fire, Water & Air, to find balance within the Chakras & bring connection between you and the Universe. A flow is linked with each element to evoke a certain mood or energy; each element flow is also linked with different parts of the body with a focus to stretch and strengthen these areas.

Each day will begin with breakfast and a Mandala Yoga Practice but the rest of each day will differ throughout the week. Here are two examples:
